The time is coming when the SIMFEST International Film and Television Festival will offer the public several dozen hours of screening with film and television productions from all around the world.
180 productions from 38 countries entered the competition. The pre-selection jury chose 75 productions for the final, of which 14 are Romanian. The final jury is in full viewing activity and will make its decision in Târgu Mureș, during the festival.
The 19 th edition of the SIMFEST International Film and Television Festival will take place in Târgu Mureș from 29 th of August to 4 th of September, 2022. As usual, it will be a real cultural complex, which will offer the public an opportunity to participate in exhibitions, film screenings, debates , performances, workshops and masterclasses.
The festival is supported by the Film and Audiovisual Professionals of Romania Union UPFAR – ARGOA and the Romanian Audiovisual Authors Society DACIN-SARA in reinforcing and promoting Romanian cinema and offers the public memorable meetings with famous names such as directors Iza Bostan and Nicolae Mărgineanu or actors Maria Ploae, Isabela Neamțu , Dan Puric and Marcel Iureș.
The project is co-financed by the Municipality of Târgu Mureş and supported by the Municipality of Sangeorgiu de Mureş, Municipality of Reghin and Mureș County Council.
