The submissions session for the competition of The 20^th International Film and Television Festival SIMFEST was closed.

There were registered 140 productions from 38 countries. All the continents are represented in competition: Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and both Americas. Through the most distant places where the SIMFEST’s prizes  could go are USA, Canada, Mexic, Venezuela. Chile, South Africa, Australia, South Korea or Taiwan. We also have wrote down unusual presences, as those from Iran (with an impressive cinema), Iraq, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, French Guiana and other.

A first jury will decide about the Official Selections for the finale. Then, an international jury, formed by specialists from Romania, Austria, United Kingdom and France , will establish the winners.

The organizer, The Cultural Association SIMFEST is waiting for you in Targu Mures, Romania, since August 28^th until September 3^rd, for a particular anniversary edition, with dozens of film screenings, exhibitions, debates and shows.
